Food For Thought and Consideration We live in this world, but not of the world. When we are born-again of the Spirit of God, we are born from above. We are spirit that has a soul and lives in a body. And when we are born from above, we are to set our mind on things above. We are to have the mind of Christ. Apostle Paul said “Let this mind be in me that is also in Christ Jesus.” The author of 1 John wrote in chapter 2 and verse 15 that we are not to love the world or the things in the world because if we do, then the love of the Father is not in him. Please understand that I know that we get frustrated. We get discouraged. We get sick. We get tempted. We get angry. Living in this state, we are exposed to these and more but this is when we take the opportunity to grow in the grace of the Lord.
