Food For Thought and Consideration We live in this world, but not of the world. When we are born-again of the Spirit of God, we are born from above. We are spirit that has a soul and lives in a body. And when we are born from above, we are to set our mind on things above. We are to have the mind of Christ. Apostle Paul said “Let this mind be in me that is also in Christ Jesus.”  The author of 1 John wrote in chapter 2 and verse 15 that we are not to love the world or the things in the world because if we do, then the love of the Father is not in him.             Please understand that I know that we get frustrated. We get discouraged. We get sick. We get tempted. We get angry. Living in this state, we are exposed to these and more but this is when we take the opportunity to grow in the grace of the Lord. "Blink and You Could Miss Him Often times we so are distracted by events in our lives—struggles, difficulties, and temptations—that we fail to see God. He is always there, but we don’t see Him. He is passing by and we aren’t paying attention. So we must keep our eyes on the prize and remember that God is always with us. We are as close to God as we ever will be in our earthly lives. He never abandons us, but it is we who push Him aside. We put God on the proverbial back-burner and give our attention to the the things we find more important in our lives. God’s creation was functioning the way He had purposed them to function. To the Saints of Christ May the mind of Christ, our Redeemer, live in us from day to day by His love and power controlling all we do and say. May the Word of God dwell richly in our hearts from hour to hour, so that all may see we triumph ONLY through and by the power of God. May the peace of God, our Father, rule our lives in all we do and say that we may be calm to comfort te sick and the sorrowing. May the love of Jesus fill us as the waters fill the ocean so we will walk in full power and authority. May we love each other so that the world will know that we are disciples of God.          When Jesus comes back, He isn't coming back for just an individual, but will be coming back for a unified body. Therefore, as the body of Christ we must be able to speak the truth in love so that we may grow up in all things unto Him who is the head-Christ- from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love. Ephesians 4. We are to bear and share burdens. Therefore, if a person is overtaken in any trespass, we who are spiritual restore them in a spirit of gentleness, considering ourselves lest we also be tempted. The Battle is Not Yours, But God's 2 Chronicles 20:1-29 They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.... Have you ever been up against something that wasn't your battle although it was happening against you? When we realize which battles we are to fight and which battle only God the Lord of host can fight, it is then we will be victorious. I have to take the example from Jehoshaphat. He sought the LORD for help. Second Chronicles 20:4-6 states: "So Judah gathered together to seek help from the LORD; they even came from all the cities of Judah to seek the LORD.      This has been a constant and continual revelation and illumination for me as I grow in grace. When the enemy tries to make me believe his lies, I begin to confess what the Word of God says about me. I am redeemed through the blood of the Lamb. (Ephesians 1:7) I am chosen in order that I might be for the praise of His glory. (Ephesians 1:11-12) I am rescued from the dominion of darkness and brought into the kingdom of Jesus. (Colossians 1:13) I am the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ. (2 Corinthians 5:21) I can do all things through Jesus Christ. (Philippians 4:13) I am complete in Christ Jesus. (Colossians 2:10)      These are just a few of the confession I make. And these confessions are for all who are in Christ Jesus. I wasn't sure to what extent the ministry would be developed and I am still walking by faith that what the Lord has started He will finish and maintain.      We invite you to take an active part in this Blog.
